I am the owner of multiple Manufactured Home Communities (Mobile Home Parks) and some of my homeowners in one of my communities commented to me about Jake and his Heating and Air Conditioning Service. The good word went around the park grapevine. Comments to me like, he is on time, efficient, knows what he is doing, is fair and reasonable. “AND!”, I was very “VERY!” impressed to hear that a tenant’s A/C unit stopped working and the problem was only a small broken thermostat wire. Jake, the company owner, was very honest and made the minor repair at a very fair and reasonable service call fee. This kind of honesty these days is hard to come by, unlike some service companies that take advantage of unknowledgeable people/customers. Myself, I have been a small independent electric and plumbing contractor, by word of mouth, for decades. I’m in my late seventies and no longer do contracting just own and operate my Manufactured Home Communities. I made it my business to meet Jake to tell him about the wonderful feedback from my tenant homeowners. In my opinion he and his business are a five-star class family operation.

We had our furnace stop working in the middle of winter. Jake came out to our house promptly and tried to get our old unit to work. I felt confident in his work from the very beginning. Unfortunately, we had to get a new furnace installed, but Jake really went out of his way to make sure that we were taken care of as soon as possible. Prices were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Jacobs Service Company. They did outstanding work and have earned another customer!

A few years ago my husband and I were down on our luck but our boiler went out. Not only did they come out late at night without a single complaint but they fixed our problem at a very steep discount. I have never forgotten their kindness and to be honest it weighs on me often. Our burner on the furnace stopped working. Called for service Friday and received service next day. Problem diagnosed and repaired within an hour.

The Team

Jake has been in the HVAC industry for over 15 years. He has experience with residential and commercial settings. Jake has lived in the Harrisburg area all his life, growing up in Paxtang Borough. He served as a volunteer firefighter for many years and is currently a volunteer on a local Cemetery’s Board. Passion for his work and excellent craftsmanship is shown in every detail of his work.

Andria worked side by side with Jake for several years in the beginning in addition to being the office person, however, within the past four years she’s been more focused on the scheduling and paperwork. Andria served as a volunteer firefighter for several years and was very active in other areas in the fire company. In addition to also maintaining a full time job elsewhere, Andria keeps the schedule organized and does a lot of other office duties. Professionalism and organization is shown in details from estimates to phone calls.

Jake’s father-in-law (Andria’s dad). Bart is a veteran and worked for the Army Depot of over 25+ years as a heavy equipment mechanic retiring a few years ago. Often times when you see Jake, you will see Bart. Bart enjoys working with his son-in-law which helps keep his skills sharp. He also enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
